Superior Motor Oil
The key to extending drain intervals is the oil you use. AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oil was the first and may be the only 25,000-mile motor oil on the market. Today AMSOIL manufactures a number of high-quality long life synthetic motor oils. Because AMSOIL Motor Oils are synthetic lubricants, they withstand temperature extremes within an engine without breaking down like conventional petroleum oils. They provide excellent protection at high temperatures and easier starting at sub-zero temperatures. Kept clean, they will last indefinitely to cool, clean and reduce friction and wear for the best possible fuel economy and the longest possible engine life.

Superior Air & Oil Filters
 Dirt is your engine’s worst enemy and the single major cause of engine wear. AMSOIL TRIGARD utilizes two extremely effective filters to keep airborne dirt from entering your engine through the engine air intake, and continuously filter contaminants and combustion by-products from the engine oil. First, install an AMSOIL Ea Air Filter. AMSOIL Ea Air Filters are made with nanofiber synthetic media that is available only from AMSOIL. Ea Air Filters boast the highest efficiency rating of any air filter on the market, along with greater capacity and less restriction than competing filters. Then install the AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Filter along with an AMSOIL Ea Oil Filter Ea By-Pass Filters feature higher filtering efficiency, soot removal and increased oil capacity. They also have a silicone anti-drain back valve and HNBR nitrile gasket for better sealing and increased longevity, as well as a zinc dichromate coated base plate for great corrosion resistance.

Superior Engine Monitoring
Regardless of the kind of oil or filters used, mechanical problems in an engine are not always noticed until it is too late. Engine monitoring can save you the cost of major engine repairs or a new engine. By analyzing used engine oil, a qualified lab can detect mechanical problems your engine may have. To insure that your engine is performing properly, the TRIGARD plan includes a first-time oil analysis between 1,000 and 6,000 miles. The second analysis is performed after one year or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first. (12,500 miles on diesel or turbocharged vehicles)   Continued oil analysis at six-month or 12,500-mile intervals will monitor the condition of your oil and your engine. The long-term oil analysis program has been shortened to six month or 12,500-mile intervals due to stress made by modern engine designs. Today’s engines run hotter, are equipped with more pollution control equipment, and have higher weight-to horsepower ratios. Another reason for more frequent testing intervals is that motor fuels, including gasoline and diesel, have steadily declined in quality and cleanliness. Getting a sample of used engine oil from your engine is a simple procedure using oil sample bottles included with the TRIGARD plan and the petcock available for the by-pass filter. This procedure assures many thousands of miles of trouble-free driving.
